What are your thoughts on death? Fear? Ambivalence? Joy? Indifference? Curiosity? The feelings are as diverse as the peoples of the world.

Death Fragments is the title of a series of chapbooks of bits and pieces of thoughts, feelings and ideas on death, the subject which we prefer not to discuss.

We are all different but share one thing: we all die. It's not if...but when.

Shard I

People simply don't talk about death, until someone dies. Then they say all the things they wish they had said to the person and ask all the questions they wish they had asked. Some people simply refuse to accept that someone will die, and when the person does they are devastated. In not practically discussing death, those left behind are often not prepared financially or emotionally.

In Death Fragments you will read:

"Death and life compliment each other when death is examined objectively."

Though most of us occasionally experience fear of dying, some are consumed with the fear of dying a certain type of death. Featured writer Scuttles answers a question, from a visitor to his website, with skill and compassion:

I do know what you mean about your fears of a violent, painful death. Everybody over puberty has those fears.....

In the poem Oh Blessed Mercy death is embraced:

Oh blessed mercy, relief and joy. I die when it is my time.....

Start your quest for peace by exploring and pondering this neglected subject.
