This summer is turning out to be a scorcher! As I try to keep cool, and remain indoors as much as possible, my favorite reads still go with me. There is nothing like a good book, article or periodical to take our minds off of unfavorable weather. Through books we can escape to balmy, tropical weather, or to a cool Alaskan meadow.

No matter what time of year, reading a favorite book is my favorite thing to do. In fact, I sometimes keep two or three books going. Which one I pick up depends on where I am and my mood. And of course as I read, I come up with ideas on new manuscripts to write and publish.

HWP publishes various products for your enjoyment, practical use and gift giving. There are always projects in the works and I think you will like my products.

On the publishing side, the production of Lying In The Grass And Looking At The Sky, the first in a series of children's chapbooks, is still on hold. I want to pay special attention to marketing them to children. These booklets will also be a tool to encourage children to write.

I've begun work on one of the nature books. I especially love observing birds and have many poems about them. These chapbooks will also include verse about animals, flora, and maybe the elements.

The publication of The Romantic Male is still pending. I need to find more sources for romantic male poets. I decided that one of my good prospects writes poetry that is simply too erotic. If you read the introduction on my RomanceRomance page, you will see that I make a great distinction between romance and sexuality. I believe there are men today who possess that old-fashioned romantic spirit. I just have to find them.

I am excited about sharing all of my products with you as each is developed. Watch for the dead links to become active as products are added. My plan is to get at least one product published for each section so that all of them will be open as soon as possible. Then I will begin publishing additions to the sections.
